The colours of the straps are taken from the burgee of the New York Yachting Club, founded in 1844 in the town of Newport. It is the oldest and most successful Yacht Club in the United States of America. The strap incorporates the colours of the "flag" of the New Zealand city of Auckland, famous for its two ports, for its historical and nautical tradition for hosting the America's Cup. The famous island of the Atlantic Ocean, known throughout the world for being a favourite of owners of yachts and luxury sailing boats, as well as a site where prestigious regattas take place. Noted is the French’s seaside resort, famous for the prestige of its residents and the visitors who attend the coasts glamourous restaurants and exclusive hotels, clubs and bathing establishments. Also noted is the known seaside resort on the Tuscany region (Italy), famous for the high level of Italian and international clients in the tourism sector, where there are famous yacht clubs, famous bars and restaurants and luxury hotels.
